Trust Engagement Model
Tyne and Wear Learning Trust offers a 3 tier engagement model of school improvement. Tier 1 and 2 are provided to schools and academies external to the Trust.
Tier 1- School Improvement Support
These are short term packages to support your school visions and values and aims along with the understanding and empathy to address specific school challenges. We can provide school-based advice and support on all areas of school improvement, governance and finance. These packages are usually bespoke to the school and will be allocated in a number of days. You will receive:
- Initial consultation with a member of the Executive Leadership Team
- Advice and an agreed action plan of support
- Support with implementation and monitoring
- Impact evaluation report
Example packages include:
- Developing middle leaders
- Curriculum design
- Developing Early Years
- Improving phonics and reading
- Creating effective Governance
- Integrated curriculum and financial planning
Tier 2- Trust Partnership
Trust partnerships are a time-limited arrangement allowing schools and the Trust to work together in a collaborative and beneficial partnership. This would usually last for 12 months and enable both the school and Trust schools to focus on improving teaching and learning and standards in all schools. You will receive:
- Initial consultation with a member of the Executive Leadership Team to agree the objectives of the partnership and the overall aims and outcomes
- Consultation with the Governing Body
- Agreed action plan
- Access to the agreed Trust networks and services
- Impact evaluation report
Tier 3- Join the Trust
As a growing trust, we would be open to a discussion with any school or schools interested in joining Tyne and Wear learning trust. We believe we have a great deal to offer schools who would like to share a successful, collaborative and supportive educational organisation.
